Dynamic Digital Writing – One Day Course

Thursday 16 March 2023, Falmouth, £185 + VAT. 10am to 4pm – with evening event from 7pm

In today's digital-first world, words matter. Done right they can rally and rouse, educate and inspire. They can create connections and lead to exciting new places. So how do you make sure your words do you and your business justice? Come find out...

Did you know, the average attention span online is less than that of a goldfish? Through this one day course, you’ll learn about purpose-led writing and how getting it right can overhaul your content – better connecting with your audiences, encouraging action and creating fans.

With a clear focus on the value of attention and engagement – rather than traffic and clicks for clicks’ sake – you’ll discover what it takes to attract, grow and sustain a faithful audience and how to write in a way that really counts.

What we cover:

  • How to write with purpose and why it matters now more than ever
  • How to create an impactful user journey
  • How to direct online users through powerful calls to action
  • Copywriting best practice
  • Connecting with humans as well as searchbots: how to integrate SEO into copy that connects
  • Right medium right message: how to plan out your content across platforms
  • Tools, tips and tricks to make your digital life more rewarding

What you get

Stranger Collective training isn’t like most training. As well as a crack team of writing specialists running the day and offering all the insights you would expect, you’ll also get:

  • An inspiring setting, to fire you up. For this training day we’ll be in Solskinn at The Poly, in Falmouth, with a lunchtime stomp to the beach for inspiration
  • A delicious lunch and refreshments through the day – no soggy sandwiches here
  • A take-away handbook with all the insights you learn and a few on the side
  • Valuable connections into a creative network and community that you can draw for inspiration and collaboration.
  • An experience to get your creative juices firing; all training has an associated ‘happening’ as part of the ticket price. For this training, we’ll be tying in with Read Between the Wines an evening of words, wine and writerly conversation to energise you after a day learning.
  • Course aftercare, with a copywriting and content review of your first content post-training to make sure you’re on track and help you put what you’ve learnt into practice

Who's it for?

Collective travel

We get more impact when we act together. If those of us that can ditch the passenger-less car option, for collective travel on train or bus or lift-share, or by joining the growing band of active travellers on two pedal-powered wheels, we can make any event better for the environment.

For Dynamic Digital Writing training at the Poly, Falmouth Town and Falmouth Docks railway stations are both walking distance. Transport for Cornwall buses arrive in Falmouth from across the county, plan ahead at Traveline South West. You can also borrow two-wheels – at locations around Penryn and Falmouth – for the journey from beryl.cc. And for a low-emissions lift, one of team Stranger will be driving electric from the Lizard for the day with space for passengers; email us ([email protected]) if you’d like to be picked-up on route.
