Aged 16-24 and wanting a leg-up into your dream creative industry role? THIS IS IT! events are touring the country this autumn, helping young creatives get their careers off the ground. Since it all kicked off in the capital last November, the word has spread through Newcastle, Bristol and Manchester. And now it’s finally wending its way west. Top industry professionals from the visual arts, music and creative enterprise are set to ignite young minds at the youth careers day on Friday 26 September at Plymouth College of Art. And Stranger Collective’s Amie and Helen will be there too.
THIS IS IT! Plymouth will gather 16 to 24-year-olds to meet with creative professionals, who’ll offer up their insights from within the industry. The This Is It! team will also be on hand to share the tools you’ll need to fast-track your career. With inspirational speakers, practical workshops on career-boosting skills such as freelancing and entrepreneurship, the chance for attendees to grow their own professional networks and the opportunity to receive expert support and advice from leading industry figures; this is an event not to be missed.
