In October 2021, our hardy League of Strangers gathered in St Ives, Cornwall, to take a dawn dip and hear authors and imagemakers muse on the ocean and creativity.
Atmospheric. Refreshing. Enlightening. At First Light promised and delivered. From a shades-of-blue sunrise to post-swim shivers, inspiration-induced goosebumps to tales of constellations rising up from the deep, otherworlds above and below the surface, and reckonings in the shallows, it was quite a morning.
