With a background in microbiology and a passion for science communication, Ellie moved into visual storytelling while studying at Falmouth University back in 2017. Having given (almost) every career sector under the sun a go, she finally found that sweet spot – with communication design at the core.
Ellie’s previous work includes freelance graphic design and illustration, events production and managing communications for a range of organisations, from student unions to an innovative London cycle shop.
Collaborating on exciting projects, meeting new people and raising the profile of groups/individuals all get her fired up, while generating ideas for creative content and finding new opportunities to bring likeminded people together are up there with some of her favourite missions.
When she’s not scribbling down designs or project plans, you’ll most likely find her in the queue for a certain Falmouth bakery, crossing her fingers in hope that they haven’t quite sold out of cinnamon buns just yet…
