Content Coaching

Because the pressure on in-house teams has never been greater.

Not training. Not a retainer. Something in between.

The content world has shifted.

So we have too.

Budgets are shrinking. AI is ballooning. And suddenly, everything your brand says – everywhere – matters even more.

Content teams are expected to move faster, do more, sound better, and prove it’s all working. With no extra time, bodies or brain space.

We see that. And we see the traditional agency model – where we do the work for you – isn’t always the answer.

That’s where Stranger Content Coaching comes in.

What you get

Agency thinking in-house

We work direct with your people – a mix of 1-1s, group problem-solving, team workshops and more – across a six- or 12-month programme, to embed new ways of thinking and doing – from refining strategy to improving day-to-day content delivery.

Bespoke to your business

No cookie-cutter training, or off-the-shelf workshops. Everything we do is tailored to your goals, your challenges, your needs, your team – so what we cover is always relevant and usable right away.

Real world, hands on

We get right into your reality: the meetings, the 48 open tabs, the overflowing calendars, and everything in between – to help streamline and make sense of it all, and free you up to focus on the work that really makes a difference.

Developing your people

Everyone learns differently, with their own strengths and challenges. Stranger Content Coaching develops each individual in a way training can’t – helping each get sharper, faster and more confident in the work they do every day.

For the long-term

Our goal? By the end, your team won’t need outside help anymore. We’ll have made ourselves obsolete.

Because this is about what’s best for you, not what’s expected of us

Why it’s different

We don’t parachute in, do the work, then disappear.

No one-off training sessions that feel great on the day but are forgotten by next week.

This is a six- or 12- month programme where we work alongside your team, inside your meetings, calendars, plans and chaos, to help you:

  • Sharpen your story
  • Fix what’s not working in your content process
  • Build habits, skills and confidence that last

It’s deep, hands-on support shaped entirely around your team, your goals and your ways of working.

This could mean looking at:

  • Story – what are you actually trying to say?
  • Process – how’s stuff getting made, and is it working?
  • Ideas – where do they come from, and what makes them fly?
  • Mindset – are you doing too much and not seeing the impact?
  • Measurement – what’s really cutting through – and what’s just noise?

Each programme is shaped to fit you.

What a six-month programme might look like:

This is just one possible example – shaped for a busy team of four covering marketing, comms and social (amongst other things).

The team is constantly producing content, but not always sure what’s working – or how it all fits together. Some are confident, others less so. Everyone wants to raise the bar, but it’s hard to find the time and space in the day to make that happen.

Stranger Content Coaching gives them that space. Over six months, we mix team sessions, 1-1s and practical workshops to help them:

  • Build confidence in their own skills
  • Cut through the muddle of planning and delivery
  • Feel more connected as a team with shared priorities
  • Keep improving, instead of just keeping up

AI is part of the mix from the start — not as a gimmick, but as another tool. The team learns how to use it to spark ideas, save time and spot patterns, while being clear on where it can’t be trusted and where human judgement matters most.

How the six months pan out:

  • Meet the programme sponsor/ key stakeholder

  • Shape the detailed programme plan with individual and team focuses

  • 1-1s on workload, planning habits and stress points

Month 4: sharpening content quality

  • Team session: review live content together to see what could be stronger, and why
  • 1-1s on writing structure, editing and clarity
  • Mini-workshop: Foolproof proofreading — spotting errors and sharpening clarity under pressure

Month 5: unlocking ideas

  • Team workshop: Ideas that stick — generating more useful, purposeful, relevant ideas
  • 1-1s on live ideas and campaign development
  • Group session: applying new approaches to an upcoming campaign

Month 6: embedding learning

  • Final 1-1s: locking in what each person has learned and how to take this forward
  • Half-day team session: what’s changed, what still needs support, and agreeing future ways of working
  • Agree the team’s AI principles — when to use, when not to, and how to be transparent about this

Wrap-up

  • Review the programme and what’s shifted since month one
  • Create a final summary with recommendations, and share this back with the sponsor/ key stakeholders

These are example areas to focus on, others could include:

  • Communicating your impact with impact – for sustainability/ impact storytelling
  • Write like you mean it – a deeper dive into purposeful writing
  • Make people care – storytelling that connects and resonates
